REALTOR® Emeritus & Honorary Members For Life

What is a REALTOR Emeritus? Any person who has held membership in the National Association of REALTORS® for a cumulative period of 40 years in one or more Associations. The AOR AE submits a application and supporting documents to N.A.R. and upon approval and notification, the member is no longer responsible for dues to the National Association of REALTORS® for the rest of their lives. This is a distinct award not many can achieve!

The Honorary Member-for-life Award is awarded to a select few. REALTOR® members of the State Association who have faithfully served the Association for a period of 25 years or more, are of the age required, are submitted by the AOR AE and upon approval from C.A.R’s Board of Directors, are approved and then exempt from paying State Association dues and assessments for the rest of their life. Honorary Member for Life recipients are still entitled to all rights and privileges of membership.
